Anti-angiogenic therapy has proven to be useful tool for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) in the frontline setting. Excitingly, there are now anti-angiogenic agents that can be used in the second-line setting, including ramucirumab and nintedanib, as described here by Marina Garassino, MD, of the Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori, Milan, Italy.
