There have been great improvements in radiotherapy (RT) services in the UK over the past 10 years; however, there is still progress to be made, particularly in certain areas. In this informative interview, Jeanette Dickson, MD, FRCR, Vice President for Clinical Oncology of The Royal College of Radiologists, discusses the changes to RT services that could be made in order to improve patient care. Dr Dickson, of East and North Hertfordshire NHS Foundation Trust, Stevenage, UK, highlights the roll-out of new technologies, such as stereotactic ablative RT, and the equality of access of patients in all centers. This video was recorded at the British Thoracic Oncology Group (BTOG) Annual Conference 2018, held in Dublin, Ireland.
