As patient awareness and knowledge of disease increases, the way in which doctors provide information to their patients in Spain has been changing. In this video, Jorge Sierra, MD, PhD of the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, Barcelona, Spain discusses the way that information is given to patients by clinicians in Spain, how this has changed in recent years and the impacts this has had on patient involement in treatment decision making.
