The results of this trial demonstrate a superior progression-free survival of nivolumab (a PD-1 checkpoint inhibitor) and ipilimumab (a CTLA-4 checkpoint inhibitor) regimen or nivolumab monotherapy versus ipilimumab monotherapy in previously untreated advanced melanoma.
