Ledermann, BSc, MD, FRCP, from UCL Cancer Institute and UCL Hospitals, London UK, discusses the therapeutic development and impact of olaparib, a poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) inhibitor, for the management of patients with BRCA-related ovarian cancer.
