LUX-Lung 7: Phase 2b trial of afatinib versus gefitinib for EGFR-mutated adenocarcinoma of the lung

Herbst, MD, PhD, from Yale Cancer Center, Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven, New Haven, CT, discusses data from LUX-lung 7, a randomised, open-label, phase 2b trial comparing afatinib to gefitinib in the first-line treatment setting with patients who are having epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutation-positive advanced adenocarcinoma of the lung.
