James E. Bates, MD on Early-Stage Hodgkin Lymphoma: Is This Reflective of Modern Technique? @JamesBatesMD @UF

Dr. James Bates, MD @JamesBatesMD of University of Florida @UF answers is this reflective of long term techniques on long term outcomes in 10-year survivors of early-stage hodgkin lymphoma.

___________

Although radiation therapy enhances progression-free survival in early-stage Hodgkin lymphoma (HL), significant questions remain about the effect on quality of life and survival of delayed normal tissue impacts. We hypothesized that combined-modality therapy (CMT; chemotherapy and radiation therapy) care increases overall survival among 10-year survivors as opposed to radiation therapy or chemotherapy care alone.
