Howard L. Kaufman, MD, FACS of Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey explains whether or not there is a biomarker to better predict which patients respond to treatment. He states there have been studies for potential biomarkers, but none of the data showed significant responses. He advises all patients should undergo this treatment until clinicians find a biomarker.
