Challenges in the management of idiopathic aplastic anemia

Régis Peffault de Latour, MD, PhD, from Saint Louis Hospital, Paris, France, discusses the main challenges in managing patients with idiopathic aplastic anemia. He identifies three key challenges, including the place of receptor agonists, transplantation in elderly patients, and upfront match-unrelated transplantation in the pediatric population.
