In this interview, Torsten Haferlach, MD, of MLL Munich Leukemia Laboratory, Munich, Germany, reflects on the differences between the treatment of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) in clinical practice and in a clinical trial setting, and the issues physicians face in a clinical environment. Prof. Haferlach then provides advice to doctors on what information they should give ALL patients about their condition.
