CAR T-cell therapy has been established as an effective treatment option for a range of hematological cancers. In this video, Wojciech Jurczak, MD, PhD, from Jagiellonian University, Kraków, Poland, explains how the accessibility to this revolutionary treatment is limited for two key reasons. Prof. Jurczak notes that although limitations are present, he hopes that the European Medicines Agency can register CAR T-cell therapy in the near future as a first therapy of choice for many hematological cancers.
